This weeks taste of the day is a classic Canadian whiskey Crown Royal. One of my favorites. Cloying caramel, light fruit, light citrus and a light nuttiness create the initial aroma on this light whisky. Some light notes of raw grain, brown sugar and an ethereal vanilla bring up the rear. These bottles are sitting on top of an end grain all Walnut butcher block with 45 degree beveled edge to give a sleek and modern look while also providing a nice place to grab for easy relocation.
