Jenny Hickey Cooper Burpee Strong

Hello, my name is Burpee.

My real name is Jennifer Hickey Cooper. I live on through memories, pictures, video, and conversation. I fought a tough battle with cancer. Though it took my life, it did not take away my fight that lives on through others that loved me. I was placed on this earth for a cause, a cause that will one day be realized. My life was not an accident, my passing will not be as well. I am leaving behind a legacy that will last forever, with the help of family, friends and you.

My legacy

My fight continues on...

it continues because I never quit, I never stop, I never surrender. When I found out I had cancer, I was faced with a choice that so many people around the world come to realize every day. Give up, or fight. I chose to fight and did I ever. My nickname "Burpee" was given to me for a reason. The burpee exercise is one that many consider to be the toughest, but I loved them. It made me work, it made me feel powerful. It was an honor to take that nickname, because I knew burpees were tough, and so was I. Though cancer eventually took me, it did not win. My fight continues on, through family, friends and people like you by honoring me and pursuing a cure for the horrible disease. Whether that's through charity work or donations, the more we push towards a cure through science, research and development, the closer we get to finishing this race. My life was not taken in vain, it was for this purpose. So I urge each of you, to give, to love, to run, to fight. Fight for me, fight for your loved one, fight by giving to cancer research. I thank you so much for your help, till we meet again...
